No — you don’t have to live in Nevada.
Our Revocable Living Trusts are established under Nevada law because it offers the most favorable combination of privacy, flexibility, and protection available in the U.S.
Nevada statutes (NRS Chapters 163 and 166) allow a trust to designate Nevada as its legal “situs”—its home state for legal purposes—even if the you live elsewhere.
This means your trust is governed and administered under Nevada’s strong trust laws, while still being fully valid and enforceable in your home state under the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
